An Evening With Edward Burns

THE COMMUNITY FILM INSTITUTE PRESENTS

AN EVENING WITH EDWARD BURNS

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 12th – 7:30 PM

THIS SPECIAL EVENT IS FOR MEMBERS ONLY

We are pleased to be welcoming filmmaker and actor Edward Burns to the Community Film Institute.  We will be premiering the film “Nice Guy Johnny” (see trailer below), which was written and directed by Mr. Burns, who will participate in a question and answer session following the screening.

Edward Burns is one of the most prolific and versatile storytellers in the film industry today. He has been consistently writing, directing, producing and acting in critically acclaimed films for the last 15 years.

In 1995, he broke through with The Brothers McMullen which earned him several award nominations for his writing and directing. Over the years, he has starred in countless films which include Saving Private Ryan, 27 Dresses, 15 Minutes, Sidewalks of New York, Life or Something Like It as well as memorable television performances in Entourage and Will & Grace. Most importantly, Burns has followed his heart and has always focused his efforts on writing, directing, producing and acting in films that tell compelling stories that mean something to him.

This event is a part of the Community Film Institute’s film series and will therefore be limited to members only.  If you are interested in  learning about membership to the Community Film Institute, please visit our website at www.communityfilm.org/filmclub or contact ellen@communityfilm.org
